Most skylight leaks are flashing failures, not cracked glass. The junction between the skylight curb and the surrounding shingles is the most vulnerable point. We diagnose and re-flash the entire perimeter for a permanent fix.

How much does skylight installation cost?+

A standard fixed skylight installation typically runs $800–$2,000 including the unit and installation. Venting and larger custom skylights run higher. We provide free on-site quotes.

Can skylights handle Colorado hail?+

Modern Velux and Fakro skylights use impact-resistant laminated glass rated for hail. We recommend these for all Colorado installations — they're virtually indestructible under normal hail conditions.
